Special Weather Statement issued April 28 at 5:19PM CDT by NWS North Platte NE

At 519 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Spencer, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Spencer, Lynch, Gross, Bristow, Anoka, and Monowi.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 281 between mile markers 211 and 223.
Highway 12 between mile markers 117 and 130, and between mile
markers 142 and 143.
