Flood Advisory issued April 28 at 7:47PM CDT until April 28 at 10:45PM CDT by NWS Norman OK

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Portions of southwest Oklahoma, including the following
counties, Jackson and Tillman and northern Texas, including the
following counties, Foard, Hardeman and Wilbarger.

* WHEN…Until 1045 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 745 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in
the advisory area.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Altus, Quanah, Chillicothe, Olustee, Eldorado, Elmer,
Headrick, Friendship, Odell, Medicine Mound, Goodlett,
Humphreys, Altus Air Force Base, Warren, Hess, Rayland and
Copper Breaks State Park.
