Yazoo River At Yazoo City affecting Yazoo County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Yazoo River at Yazoo City.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 32.0 feet, Minor flooding of mostly agricultural land
is occurring outside the levee protection system.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 32.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is near crest and will remain near
32.5 feet through tomorrow.
– Flood stage is 29.0 feet.

Carolina County in Puerto Rico... * Until midnight AST tonight. * At 929 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing and local emergency managers reported flood waters from Quebrada Blafina affecting portions of road PR-887 near Plaza Carolina. The road is currently impassable. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar.

Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 749 PM AST, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Up to 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Utuado and Cayuco. -
