Special Weather Statement issued April 28 at 7:59PM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX

At 759 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Nugent, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Mccarty Lake, Us-180 Near The Shackelford-
Stephens County Line, Ibex, and Albany.
