At 908 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles east of McCaslin Mountain Natural Area, or 30 miles south of
Iron Mountain, moving northeast at 60 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 30 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Marinette
County, including the following locations… Caldron Falls Rese,
Caldron Falls Reservoir, Athelstane, Beecher, Governor Thompson State
Park, Silver Cliff, Miscauno Island, Kremlin, Cedarville, and Amberg.
