Special Weather Statement issued April 29 at 3:44PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN

At 344 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles west of Shoals, or 22 miles northeast of Petersburg, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Shoals, Cannelburg, Loogootee, Burns City, and West Boggs Lake.
