Special Weather Statement issued April 29 at 6:23PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH

At 622 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of
Owenton, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph, penny size hail, frequent
cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to
vegetation. Lightning can cause serious injury or death.
Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.

Locations impacted include…
Browning Corner, Elk Lake, Bradford, Willow Grove, Stonewall, Natlee,
Germantown, Powersville, Morgan, Camp Northward, New Columbus,
Johnsville, Chatham, Corinth, Hittville, Goforth, Augusta, Woolcutt,
Neave, and Milford.

This includes I-75 in Kentucky between mile markers 144 and 154.
