Special Weather Statement issued April 29 at 6:27PM EDT by NWS Jackson KY

At 627 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Fogertown, or 8 miles northwest of Manchester, moving northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Turin, Grace, Blake, Fariston, Pittsburg, Southfork, Cowcreek, Lake,
Maulden, Cane Creek, Fogertown, Treadway, Chestnut Gap, Larue,
Barcreek, Bush, Scoville, Chestnutburg, Shepherdtown, and Herron.
