The National Weather Service in Lubbock has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Southern Dickens County in northwestern Texas…
Northern Kent County in northwestern Texas…
King County in northwestern Texas…
Northern Stonewall County in northwestern Texas…

* Until 715 AM CDT.

* At 505 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated storms had moved out of the
warned area. However, new storms in Garza County will move into
northern Kent and southern Dickens Counties. Up to 4 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inch are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, highways,
streets as well as other poor drainage and low-lying
areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
