Flood Advisory issued April 29 at 7:46PM AST until April 29 at 10:00PM AST by NWS San Juan PR

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Manati, Vega Alta and Vega Baja.

* WHEN…Until 1000 PM AST.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows
over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor
drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 746 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 5 inches of rain have
fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result or aggravate any
minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Vega Baja, Manati, Vega Alta, Barceloneta, Ceiba, Coto Norte,
Miranda, Monserrate, La Luisa, Brenas, San Antonio, Tierras
Nuevas Poniente, Sabana and Tierras Nuevas Pon.
