Flood Advisory issued April 29 at 9:29PM AST until April 30 at 12:00AM AST by NWS San Juan PR

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Bayamon, Canovanas, Catano, Fajardo, Guaynabo, Loiza,
Luquillo, Rio Grande, San Juan and Trujillo Alto.

* WHEN…Until midnight AST tonight.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over
roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water
crossings may become impassable. Ponding of water in urban or
other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 929 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 3 inches of rain have
fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

San Juan, Fajardo, Canovanas, Carolina, Trujillo Alto, Loiza,
Rio Grande, Guaynabo, Catano, Bayamon, Luquillo, Sabana Seca,
Santa Barbara, Campo Rico, San Isidro, La Dolores, Hato
Candal, Playa Fortuna, Ramos and Levittown.
