…The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in
Arkansas…Mississippi…

Mississippi River at Tunica Mhoon Landing

For the Lower Mississippi River…including Tiptonville,
Caruthersville, Osceola, Memphis, Tunica Mhoon Landing, Helena…
elevated river levels are forecast.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Tunica Mhoon Landing.

* WHEN…Until tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS…At 28.0 feet, In Mississippi, the river is touching the
levee at many places near Mhoon Landing. The road to Stubb’s
Island is closed. Fields are flooding inside the levee west of
Seabrook Road. Water has reached the outlot of McKinney Bayou
Pumping Station.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 27.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below 27 feet later
today.
– Action stage is 27.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
