At 1005 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 8 miles west of Van, or 8 miles southwest of Madison,
moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Mount Gay, Seth, Chapmanville, Madison, Van, Chauncey, Turtle Creek,
Sylvester, Dawes, Prenter, Sharon, Eskdale, Dorothy, Mount
Gay-Shamrock, Stickney, Mitchell Heights, Sharples, Bald Knob,
Jeffrey, and Chief Logan State.
