Special Weather Statement issued April 30 at 5:29PM MDT by NWS Goodland KS

At 529 PM MDT/629 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 6 miles south of Wauneta, or 19 miles southeast of
Imperial, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Dundy
and northwestern Hitchcock Counties.
