Special Weather Statement issued April 30 at 6:36PM EDT by NWS Jackson KY

At 636 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Threelinks, or 11 miles northeast of Mount Vernon, moving northeast
at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Morrill, Noland, Threelinks, Collingsworth, Kerby Knob, Foxtown,
Waneta, Blackburn, Alger, Clover Bottom, Hisel, Climax, Jinks, Eglon,
Disputanta, Brazil, Alcorn, Shirley, Drip Rock, and Sandgap.
