Flood Warning issued April 30 at 9:34PM CDT until May 5 at 3:43PM CDT by NWS Norman OK

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas…

Beaver Creek near Electra affecting Wichita and Wilbarger
Counties.

* WHAT…Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Beaver Creek near Electra.

* WHEN…Until Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 30.0 feet, Widespread flood levels up to 6 feet in
depth cover farm and range lands… and may inundate some oil and
gas facilities… along and near the creek in southern Wilbarger
County and southwestern Wichita County.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 30.1 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet.
– Forecast…The Beaver Creek is expected to rise to a crest of
30.5 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall
below flood stage late Monday morning.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
30.8 feet on 05/23/2019.
