Illinois…

Kaskaskia River at Carlyle.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Kaskaskia River at Carlyle.

* WHEN…Until Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 21.3 feet, Cabins on the left bank below the gage
begin flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 21.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Monday morning and continue falling to 14.7 feet
Thursday, May 08.
– Flood stage is 16.5 feet.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Osyka, Kentwood, and Tangipahoa. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 56 and 66. Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 3.
