Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 1 at 6:40PM CDT until May 1 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA

At 640 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Kentwood, or 11
miles northeast of Greensburg, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include…
Osyka, Kentwood, and Tangipahoa.

This includes the following Interstates…
Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 56 and 66.
Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 3.
