Special Weather Statement issued April 30 at 9:03AM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL

The Florida Department of Transportation is reporting
significant reductions in visibility along State Road 40
in the vicinity of Northeast 10th Street Road in the
Ocala National Forest due to a combination of fog and
smoke from a nearby wildfire. This dangerous combination
of smoke and fog (known as super fog) may continue during
the overnight and early morning hours during the next
several days. Motorists planning travel along State Road 40
in the Ocala National Forest during the overnight and
morning hours should remain alert for sudden changes in
visibility over short distances.
