Special Weather Statement issued May 1 at 5:16AM CDT by NWS Lake Charles LA

At 516 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Longville, or 8 miles north of Ragley, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
objects is possible.

Locations impacted include…
Dry Creek, Grant, Bundick Lake, Mittie, and Tulla.
