Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 2 at 5:41PM CDT until May 2 at 6:00PM CDT by NWS Birmingham AL

At 541 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Albertville to Birmingham Fairgounds to near Low
Gap, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include…
Palmerdale, Englewood, Smoke Rise, Brookwood, Mulga, New Castle,
McFarland Mall, Green Pond, Ensley, Miller Steam Plant, Pearson,
Highland Park Golf Course, Lake Tuscaloosa Dam, Snead, Camp Horne
B.S.A., Village Springs, Weller, Locust Fork, McAdory, and
Duncanville.
