Special Weather Statement issued May 2 at 2:34PM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE

WHAT…Conditions are favorable for the development of weak,
brief funnel clouds. This type of funnel cloud is typically
harmless, but on rare occasions they can briefly touch down,
producing wind gusts over 50 mph. A few storms could also produce
small hail.

WHERE…Much of eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.

WHEN…Through 7 PM.

PREPAREDNESS AND PRECAUTIONARY ACTIONS…If a funnel cloud is
spotted move indoors and report your sighting to the National
Weather Service. If a tornado warning becomes necessary, take
appropriate action.
