Special Weather Statement issued May 2 at 5:58PM CDT by NWS Jackson MS

At 558 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles south of Bude to near Summit. Movement
was north at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
