Special Weather Statement issued May 2 at 7:00PM EDT by NWS Jackson KY

At 700 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Nada, or 9 miles east of Stanton, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Zag, Bowen, Rogers, Stoll, Yale, Red River Gorge, Denniston, Pekin,
Slade, Omer, Pine Ridge, Fagan, Tabor, Dehart, Standing Rock,
Ratlitt, Scranton, Mariba, Pomeroyton, and Ezel.

THIS INCLUDES Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway between mile markers 27
and 40.
