Special Weather Statement issued May 2 at 7:40PM EDT by NWS Gray ME

At 739 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Danbury, or near New London, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Franklin, Danbury, Canterbury, Boscawen, Hill, Wilmot, Grafton, New
London, Tilton, Sanbornton, Salisbury, Andover, Springfield,
Northfield, Laconia, Belmont, Bristol, Webster, Alexandria, and
Sutton.
