* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of central Kentucky, including the following
counties, Franklin, Harrison, Scott and Woodford.

* WHEN…Until 845 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become
impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 244 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Frankfort, Stamping Ground, Sadieville, Berry, Biddle,
Porter, Double Culvert, Longlick, Mallard Point and
Josephine.

At 630 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Tulla, or 9 miles southeast of De Ridder, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Bundick Lake, Tulla, and Sugartown.
