Flood Advisory issued May 3 at 2:44PM EDT until May 3 at 8:45PM EDT by NWS Louisville KY

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of central Kentucky, including the following
counties, Franklin, Harrison, Scott and Woodford.

* WHEN…Until 845 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become
impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 244 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Frankfort, Stamping Ground, Sadieville, Berry, Biddle,
Porter, Double Culvert, Longlick, Mallard Point and
Josephine.
