Rio Grande de Manati is rising in Ciales, and this water surge will
make it to Manati and Barceloneta this evening. The river will
likely reach flood stage soon.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Barceloneta, Ciales and Manati.

* WHEN…Until 200 AM AST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 450 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area.
