Heavy rains in Adjuntas and Utuado led to high levels of Dos Bocas
Dam. This water will likely cause Rio Grande de Arecibo to reach
flood stage later this evening.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive runoff is expected.

* WHERE…Along Rio Grande de Arecibo in Arecibo.

* WHEN…Until 400 AM AST Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 554 PM AST, USGS sensors indicated that Dos Bocas Dam is
at flood stage, and Rio Grande de Arecibo is rising. Flooding
is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
