High Surf Advisory issued May 3 at 2:25AM PDT until May 5 at 9:00AM PDT by NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA

* WHAT…Large breaking waves of 4 to 7 feet with dangerous rip
currents. Surf highest across west and northwest facing
beaches.

* WHERE…Ventura County Beaches.

* WHEN…From 9 PM this evening to 9 AM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS…There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip
currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large
breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and
rocks, and capsize small boats near shore.
