Special Weather Statement issued May 2 at 9:07PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

At 906 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Uvalde to Washer. Movement was southeast
at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Uvalde, La Pryor, Batesville, Uvalde Estates, Biry, Yancey, Loma
Vista, Washer, Frio Town, and Knippa.
