Salinas Valley/Hollister Valley and Carmel Valley.

* WHEN…From 11 AM this morning to 5 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

At 519 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles north of Garden Pass, moving northwest at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Eureka County.

Red Flag Warning issued May 3 at 1:51PM MDT until May 4 at 8:00PM MDT by NWS Glasgow MT

The National Weather Service in Glasgow has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon to 8 PM MDT Sunday. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 120 and 122. * WIND...South at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 mph. * HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent. * THUNDERSTORMS...On Sunday between 6 PM and 8 PM. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
