Flood Advisory issued May 4 at 4:27PM EDT until May 4 at 6:00PM EDT by NWS Miami FL

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast Florida, including the following
county, Miami-Dade.

* WHEN…Until 600 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 424 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow
moving thunderstorms. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have
fallen from the thunderstorms during the last couple of
hours. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
expected over the area with these slow moving thunderstorms
during the next couple of hours. If the rainfall amounts
increase more than forecast, than a Flash Flood Warning may
be needed for this area. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.

Homestead, Coral Gables, The Redland, Kendall, Pinecrest,
Richmond West, Zoo Miami, Goulds, Country Walk, West Perrine,
Princeton, Richmond Heights, Naranja, The Crossings, Cutler
Bay, The Hammocks, Leisure City, Palmetto Bay, Everglades
National Park and South Miami Heights.
