Flood Warning issued May 3 at 7:23PM AST until May 4 at 4:15AM AST by NWS San Juan PR

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE…Areas along Rio Guanajibo in Cabo Rojo, Hormigueros,
Mayaguez and San German.

* WHEN…Until 415 AM AST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated
with water and may not be passable. Expect many areas of slow
moving or standing water. It will take several hours for all the
water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in
urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 721 PM AST, Emergency managers reported that several roads
continue flooded due to Rio Guanajibo being out of its banks.
Flooding is already occurring.
