* WHERE…A portion of southeast Ohio, including the following
counties, Athens, Jackson, Meigs, Morgan, Perry and Vinton.

* WHEN…Until 1100 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and
flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 624 AM EDT, Numerous roads are closed throughout the area
due to previous rainfall. Sunday Creek was causing issues,
including the Glouster, Trimble, and Jacksonville areas.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Athens, Wellston, Nelsonville, Glouster, Mcarthur, Albany,
Shawnee, Lake Hope State Park, Chauncey, Hamden, New
Straitsville, Corning, Buchtel, Jacksonville, Coalton,
Trimble, Zaleski, Hemlock, Amesville and Rendville.

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 4 to 7 feet with dangerous rip currents. Surf highest across west and northwest facing beaches. * WHERE...Ventura County Beaches. * WHEN...Until 9 AM PDT this morning. * IMPACTS...There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats near shore.

* WHAT...North winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. * WHERE...Southern Lake county over the higher terrain and exposed areas. * WHEN...Until 2 PM PDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Wind gusts will be particularly strong over the exposed ridges. There is an increased risk of tree branches and other debris on roadways. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
