Warning for the following river in Illinois…

Little Wabash River at Carmi.

.Rainfall over the last couple of days is causing the Little Wabash
River to rise, with a forecast crest at Carmi around 1 foot above
flood stage tonight.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Little Wabash River at Carmi.

* WHEN…From this morning to early Tuesday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 27.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 28.0
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage Tuesday morning.
– Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
