At 1015 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Newark, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Yonkers, Paterson, New Rochelle, Flushing, Passaic, Mott Haven,
Hoboken, East Tremont, Hackensack, Bergenfield, Paramus, Lyndhurst,
Rutherford, Secaucus, and Rye.
