At 631 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16 miles north of Lima, or 23 miles south of Dillon, moving northwest at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Clark Canyon.

At 616 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14 miles west of Henrys Lake, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southern Madison and eastern Beaverhead Counties.

At 540 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported pea to dime sized hail with a strong thunderstorms near Twin Bridges, or 14 miles northwest of Sheridan, moving northeast at 20 mph. Additional thunderstorm development is occurring across northwest Madison county with storms tracking north into southern Jefferson county through 700 PM MDT.
