Flood Advisory issued May 5 at 3:42PM EDT until May 5 at 5:45PM EDT by NWS Miami FL

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast Florida, including the following
county, Palm Beach.

* WHEN…Until 545 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 342 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Highland Beach,
Ocean Ridge, Dunes Road, Kings Point, Village Of Golf,
Loxahatchee NWR, Hypoluxo, Gulf Stream, Briny Breezes,
Manalapan, Villages Of Oriole, Morikami Park and Boca Raton
Equestrian.
