…The National Weather Service in Jackson MS has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Mississippi…

Homochitto River At Rosetta affecting Franklin County.

Big Black River At West affecting Attala and Holmes Counties.

Big Black River Near Bentonia affecting Yazoo and Madison
Counties.

Big Black River Near Bovina affecting Hinds and Warren Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Homochitto River at Rosetta.

* WHEN…From Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 19.0 feet, Water begins to spread into agricultural
lands along the river. Equipment and livestock should be removed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 3.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.0
feet early Wednesday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
