Special Weather Statement issued May 6 at 6:38PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL

At 637 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Blue Cypress Lake to near Fort Drum to 6
miles southeast of Kissimmee Prairie Preserve. Movement was southeast
at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Basinger, Blue Cypress Lake, and Fort Drum.
