Flood Advisory issued May 6 at 8:41PM CDT until May 8 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Norman OK

…The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Oklahoma…

Canadian River near Bridgeport affecting Grady, Blaine, Canadian
and Caddo Counties.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Canadian River near Bridgeport.

* WHEN…From this evening to Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 13.0 feet, Some brief flooding may occur over
croplands and pastures near the river in southern Blaine…
northern Caddo… and southwestern Canadian counties. Low-lying
bottomlands near the river may be cut off from easy access by high
water in side channels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM CDT Tuesday, the stage was estimated at 11.6 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise to 12.7 feet tomorrow morning.
– Action stage is 12.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
