…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in New
Mexico…

Vermejo River Above Dawson affecting Colfax County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Vermejo River above Dawson.

* WHEN…Until Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 8.0 feet the Vermejo river will overflow its banks
and flood low lying land nearby.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:45 PM MDT Tuesday the stage was 4.4 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 9.4 feet tomorrow
morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
morning.
– Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
9.4 feet on 07/25/1977.
