…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas…
Arkansas…Oklahoma…

Red River Near Dekalb affecting Bowie, Red River, McCurtain and
Little River Counties.

For the Red River…including Dekalb, Index, Fulton, Springbank
Ferry, Shreveport, Coushatta, Grand Ecore…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Red River near Dekalb.

* WHEN…From late Thursday night to late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding and bank erosion.
Move livestock next to the river to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 21.2 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
– Forecast…The Red River near Dekalb is expected to rise
above the 24 foot flood stage early Friday morning to a crest
of 24.1 feet early Friday afternoon. It will then fall below
flood stage Saturday morning.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
24.0 feet on 04/06/1985.
