Flood Watch issued May 6 at 8:40PM CDT until May 8 at 6:00PM CDT by NWS Mobile AL

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE…Portions of southwest Alabama, including the following
areas, Baldwin Central, Baldwin Coastal, Baldwin Inland, Mobile
Central, Mobile Coastal, Mobile Inland and Washington and
southeast Mississippi, including the following areas, George,
Greene, Perry, Stone and Wayne.

* WHEN…Through Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Four to six inches of rain is forecast to fall through
Thursday with locally higher amounts possible where rain
repeatedly moves over the same locations.
