Special Weather Statement issued May 6 at 7:05PM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA

At 704 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Black Hawk to near Lettsworth to near
Krotz Springs. Movement was east at 55 mph.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Wakefield, Gloster, Spillman, Centreville, Morganza, Crosby,
Batchelor, Wilson, Woodville, Jackson, Clinton, Fordoche, Norwood,
Lettsworth, Fort Adams, Felps, St. Francisville, Dolorosa, New Roads,
and Slaughter.
