Special Weather Statement issued May 6 at 7:14PM CDT by NWS Jackson MS

At 714 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Monticello, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Silver Creek and Wanilla around 720 PM CDT.
New Hebron around 725 PM CDT.
