Sabine River Near Hawkins affecting Upshur, Wood and Smith
Counties.

For the Sabine River…including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview, Beckville, Logansport…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Sabine River near Hawkins.

* WHEN…From Saturday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 25.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding of pastures and
boatramps. Move livestock and equipment to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 20.3 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late Saturday morning and continue rising to 26.2 feet Monday
evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
– Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
