Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 8 at 6:40PM EDT until May 8 at 7:15PM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC

At 640 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 13 miles southwest
of Brevard, or near Lake Toxaway, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include…
Lake Toxaway, Rosman, Balsam Grove, and Sapphire.
