Special Weather Statement issued May 8 at 6:13PM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL

At 613 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Everett, or 9 miles west of Darien, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts around 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Glynn
County.
